At Project Raahat, our mission is to create a positive impact through architecture that serves people and adapts to the challenges of our changing climate. This winter, we extended our efforts to provide immediate relief to those enduring harsh conditions. We organized a blanket donation drive to provide warmth and comfort to security personnel, staff workers, cleaners, and construction site workers at the Jaypee premises, as well as the security staff at our school.
What We Achieved Together
In total, over 70 blankets were distributed:
- 40 blankets were donated to the hardworking security personnel and staff at our school.
- The remaining blankets went to the dedicated individuals working at the Jaypee premises, including cleaners and construction site workers, who often brave harsh weather conditions.
These blankets were purchased through Project Raahat’s resources, made possible by the collective effort and support of our team and community.
Why This Matters
While architectural designs play a crucial role in shaping spaces, the people who maintain and secure these spaces are equally important. Many of them work long hours in harsh weather conditions, and small acts of kindness can go a long way in acknowledging their hard work and ensuring their well-being.
This donation drive is more than a gesture—it reflects the ethos of Project Raahat. Just as we strive to create climate-adaptive designs that protect and empower communities, we also recognize the importance of immediate actions that bring comfort to individuals facing the challenges of today.
